Adventures in crafts land ...
I don't know why, but buying craft supplies always seems to lead to weird reactions ...

There's a flea market here that has a guy selling all kinds of medical instruments and he's there every week and everyone seems to think it's all perfectly normal ... then, I walk up to this guy and say something like "I'm looking for a solid scalpel with a sharp, pointy blade" and everyone around me looks at me as if I'm Hannibal Lecter on a shopping tour. Very odd.
I need the scalpel to cut patterns in leather, btw. and the craft scalpels that are sold look all totally rubbish and I don't think they would handle thicker leather very well, at least not for long.

On the plus side, buying nail polish remover in the drug store for brush cleaning went smoothly. The girl didn't look at me as if I'm secretly painting my toe nails in a glittery pink but asked me if it's better for the brushes than using pure acetone (which indeed it is, if your brushes are made of real hair).

Did I complain about the weather recently?! It's boring! We are having the driest November in I don't know how many years, but that doesn't mean it's nice and sunny. It's grey and foggy or foggy and grey. If you want to see the sun you have to climb on a mountain and there are none of these readily available around here. Last year, we had snow by the end of November but I'm not greedy ... I would welcome rain and storm too, every change would be welcome actually.

Also, the latest Amazon fail just arrived. I added a shower gel for 65 Cents to my order to qualify for free shipping and they put that shower gel in an extra parcel! They probably get special discounts and all that, but if I would send a parcel like the one with the 65 Cents shower gel it would cost me 1,65 Euros! And there was loads of space left in the other parcel too ...

Welcome back!!!

I wouldn't mind a bit of beachy weather myself ... just 10 degrees more and we would be there.
